Cinnamon swirl blondie

Kanel er noe av det beste jeg vet, særlig i bakeverk. Leter alltid etter nye oppskrifter og ideer til kaker med kanel. Denne oppskriften fant jeg på en amerikanske blogg og måtte bare prøve. 
Smakte helt fortreffelig til en kopp grønn te. 
Cinnamon swirl blondie
140 g smør
3 1/4 dl hvetemel
1 ts bakepulver
1/2 ts salt
2 1/2 dl brunt sukker
1 1/4 dl sukker
2 egg
2 ts vaniljesukker ( eller 1 ts vanilje ekstrakt)
1 ss sitronsaft

Kaneltopping
55 g smør
3/4 dl sukker
1 ts kanel

Ovn 175 grader. Smør en ca 20 X 20 cm form.
Smelt smøret i en liten kjele og la det koke til det blir nøttebrunt (gyllenbrunt) men ikke brent.
Ta av platen og la det avkjøles noe. I bakebolle bland sammen hvetemel, salt og bakepulver.
I en annen bakebolle ha i begge typer sukker samt vaniljesukker. Hell over smøret og rør til smidig og godt blandet. Tilsett eggene, ett av gangen. Rør godt. Ha så i melblandingen, i to omganger og rør til alt er 
akkurat blandet inn. Hell/skje røren i formen. Røren blir ganske tykk.
Smelt smøret til toppingen og hell i sukker og kanel. Rør det sammen og hell over kakerøren. Bruk en liten kniv og  bland toppingen i kaken. Du behøver ikke lage noe fint mønster da toppingen vil smelte inn i kaken.
Stek på midterste rille i ca 30-40 min. Den skal være nesten gjennomstekt.
Avkjøl helt før servering.

I love cinnamon and specially in cakes. Always on the look out for new variations where I can bake with cinnamon. These little goodies are awesome. 

Cinnamon swirl blondie
2/3 cup butter 
1 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 Tsp fresh lemon juice

Cinnamon swirl
1/2 stick butter 
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 350 F Grease an 8x8" baking pan. 
Melt 2/3 cup butterin a small saucepan and let it cook until it is golden brown but not burnt. 
Set aside to cool slightly. In a baking bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. 
In another baking bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar, and stir until smooth. 
Add the eggs one at the time. then vanilla, and lemon juice and mix well. Add the dry ingredients 
and stir until just combined. 
Spread the batter in the prepared pan. In a saucepan, melt 1/4 cup butter for the cinnamon swirl. 
Add the sugar and cinnamon and stir to combine. Drizzle the cinnamon sauce over the blondie batter 
and use a butter knife to swirl it in. Don't try to do a fancy pattern; it all bakes together.
Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with just a few crumbs on it. 
Cool completely before serving.
