Stekt kyllingbryst med hvitløk og sitron/Pan fried chicken with garlic & lemon

Noen ganger orker jeg simpelthen ikke å være kreativ med middagen. Da heller jeg gjerne til stekt kyllingbryst.  Litt sjalottløk, hvitløk og olivenolje, så litt sitronsaft og urter og vips, middag! 
Salat er fint å servere til. 
For meg er dette enkelt og superlett mat å lage men jeg vet flere av mine venner ikke er helt enig. For hva jeg anser er lett og enkelt er ikke alltid hva de syntes er enkelt. Ikke alle er like interessert i matlaging som meg. Det er lett å glemme der jeg sitter med nesa i den nye kokeboka, nr 300 i rekken. Så heretter skal jeg bruke enkelt og lett å lage når jeg tror det er slik for de fleste, og ikke bare for meg.

Stekt kyllingbryst med hvitløk og sitron
2 pers
2 store kyllingbryst/fileter uten skinn
3-4 ss olivenolje
Havsalt
3 hvitløksfedd, knust eller revet
3 sjalottløk, i tynne skiver
1/2 sitron, saften
En håndfull hakket persille

Stek sjalottløken med 1 ss olivenolje i en middels varm stekepanne i ca 3 min.
Legg løken tilside så lenge. Hell i resten av olivenoljen og stek kyllingfiletene på høy varme 
til de er gjennomstekte. Legg tilbake løken og tilsett hvitløk og havssalt.
Hell i sitronsaften og hakket persille. Stek videre ca 1 min. Server umiddelbart.

Sometimes I really don`t want to be creative with my dinner. Then I usually make this pan fried chicken breast. A little garlic, shallots, lemonjuice and parsley, and dinner is ready! Maybe a little side salad to go with it. To me this is super easy food to make but some of my friend doen`t always agree with me on what`s easy to make. Not everyone is a food freak like me. That is easy to forget so from now on I will only use the terms easy when I am convinced that it is easy for most of you, not only me.
Chicken with lemon and garlic
2 servings
2 large chicken breast fillets
3-4 tbsp olive oil
sea salt
3 garlic cloves, crushed
3 schallots, finely sliced
1/2 lemon, juice
Handfull  flaf leaf parsley, chopped 


Fry the onion with 1 tbsp olive oil, 3 minutes in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
Remove onion from the pan, keep on a plate. Add the chicken fillets to the pan and fry them in remaining olive oil on high heat until cooked through. Add the fried onion,crushed garlic and sprinkle over some seasalt. Pour in the lemonjuice and toss everything together with the chopped parsley. Cook for another minute then serve.

These pictures just look amazing. I am still full from dinner (chicken) but nonetheless my mouth is watering. Beautiful recipe!

Made a version inspired by this - was delicious. Appreciated the pictures, reminded me to leave it in the pan long enough to really brown - and I didn't hold back on the parsley. I ended up using leeks instead of shallots - came out fine.
